2026-2027 Before/After School Programming RFP
Malden Public Schools has offered the Malden Out of School Time (MOST) afterschool program for many years. We know that after school programming is extremely important to our families and we are committed to ensuring our students get what they need.
In the interest of expanding afterschool opportunities for more students, and continuing to improve the program in a sustainable way, the district is working with the City of Malden to formally request proposals from qualified external organizations to take over the management of the program starting next fall (SY26-27). We anticipate that the selection of the organization will be made by this May.
We have heard questions from many families about this process, and have created this resource page to compile answers to frequently asked questions.
