State Reports

Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Just as your child’s report card shows how they are doing in different subjects, the district’s report card is designed to show families how our school is doing in different areas.

As a district, one of our core values is “Embrace Growth,” meaning that we believe that every member of our community- students, educators, and administration- has the capacity to learn and grow. This is the lens through which we examine our data. We use the data to provide opportunities for targeted intervention to support students in building their skills, and we have examined the data as a district to identify ways our systems can also improve.

Families can use the information on this report card to have meaningful conversations with us about what our district is doing well and where there is room for improvement. Community and education leaders can use the information to better understand how to support students and our schools. We see families, caregivers and community members as critical partners in the success of our students and schools, and we are grateful for your continued support.
