On Wednesday, August 27, Superintendent Tim Sippel was joined by Mayor Gary Christenson and School Committee Vice-Chair Jennifer Spadafora for a tour of all the K-8 schools and Malden High School as they opened their doors to students for the new year. School Committee Member Sharyn Rose-Zeiberg also joined the group's visit to Linden STEAM Academy. The day ended at Beebe where new DESE Commissioner Pedro Martinez, as well as State Senator Lewis and State Representatives Ultrino and Lipper-Garabedian joined the tour.
