MHS Play Production Presents The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical

This year, Malden High School’s Play Production is putting on The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. Students will perform in two shows on November 21 and 22 at 7:00 p.m. 

Nearly 50 MHS students are involved in the musical as either cast or crew members. These students have been dedicating their time and talents to the production since early September. 

"Every student in Play Production is putting their all into this musical,” said Ms. Messana, Director of The Lightning Thief. “Between the long days of rehearsing, building, dancing and singing, every student has made their mark on this show and I am excited for people to see it!”

Minerva Davenport, the Student Choreographer for the musical continued, "There's a lot of work that needs to be put into a musical. I got the opportunity to choreograph some of the dances in the show and it was really fun!"

Tickets are available to MHS students during lunches the week of 11/17. All others can purchase tickets at the door. Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults. The show is appropriate for grades 4 and up!
