Malden High School Model UN Success at Northeastern

Malden High School students had an outstanding showing at the Rising Leaders Model UN Conference at Northeastern University on Friday, May 1. Competing against over 220 students from 20 schools across New England, Malden students demonstrated exceptional skill in negotiating and developing real-world solutions to this year’s topic on combating brain drain in Least Developed Countries.

Special congratulations to:

  • Nour Jaayfer and Jason Dutaille (Mozambique) – Best Delegates, 1st Place overall
  • Chelmie Hypolite and Anniyah Azhar (Italy) – Best Negotiators, 2nd Place

We also recognize all participating delegates for representing MHS with professionalism and excellence, including Kimberly Lones Ventura, Safa Niazi, Ly Nguyen, Emilly De Farias Weihrauch, Sofia Vargas, Nhi Nguyen, Beyonce Pierre Rene, Ann Nguyen, Trini Le, Camila Haro, Ryan Beardsley, Yarrah-Lynn Etienne, and others.
