Beebe Puppets

In art class, Beebe 2nd graders and Beebe 7th graders have been collaborating to design puppets!

The project started with the 2nd graders drawing the puppet of their imaginations. Then, 7th graders are using the skills from their Theater Arts class to turn the drawings into real puppets.

For the project, "students have been showing creativity, problem solving, and good use of time," said Elizabeth Holbrook, the 7th grade art teacher.

In the pictures below, you can see the drawing made by the second grader and the corresponding, in-progress, puppet.

When the puppets are finished, 7th graders creators will present them to their 2nd grade partners to take home.
